Giving the lucky designer a chance to have his or her designs made into a fabulous rug and to receive a trip to Salone del Mobile next year...........

FUSION......light meets furniture

So this week I have been working on my installation for Sydney Design festival that is to be showcased... @ Euroluce first week of August.... 

The fusion of light directly into furniture.......side tables becoming suspended light installations and stacked chairs becoming sculptural light forms.... 

with stylized specific pieces making the objects become used forms that tell a secret story...

ooooo so excited now just have to have them made...

MY BAGS ARE PACKED....

This piece would look so so good in the foyer of a Hotel......

is currently on show as part of 'sotheby's at sudeley castle',
an outdoor exhibition held at sudeley castle, gloucestershire. It includes twenty-five unique or limited-edition works of contemporary design. through diverse and innovative reinterpretations of traditional functionality, the artists challenge popular perceptions of everyday objects. The show runs until august 1st, 2010.

The Mark Hotel in New York has the most amazing flooring in their foyer, the interiors are designed by French designer, Jean Grange. With the striped black and white as the core base & fabulous feature pieces by Ron Arad and Eric Schmitt.
